Mushroom Protocol opens these grants normally once every three months.

This funding program supports projects aimed at developing biotechnology-based solutions.

While the primary focus of the grants is to fund start-up companies, the Mushroom Protocol can also support research-stage projects. Anyone with a lab-tested idea is welcome to apply and receive a funding campaign for a grant of between $10,000 and $100,000.

Requirements to apply for financing

• Biotechnology-based research developed in Latin America.

• Strong team of scientists.

• R&D focused on Agriculture, Medicine, Food, Environment or Mining.

• Research involves obtaining intellectual property.

• Seeking to generate strategic alliances with other scientists or startups in the region.

• Interested in the decentralized science model (DeSci).

How It Works:

Step 1: Apply and Selection

2. You will receive an e-mail notification for the initial interview. (The Muhsroom Protocol team makes every effort to respond within ~72 hours.)

3. If approved, you'll receive an email notification for onboarding and further steps
